| Description |
Moorland course with stunning sea and mountain views. Known locally as the "Augusta of Arran" which shows there is a sense of humour on the island.
Undulating heathland, this is probably the hardest course on the island with small greens and many burns criss-crossing the course. "Goat Fell", Arran's highest mountain which can be seen from the hole, gives the par 4 third its name. At 389 yards it is the longest hole on the course but it is the terrain, the trees and the hazards which afford the challenge on this course rather than the length.
Attractive new clubhouse completed in 1998. |
