Description Fine links course first laid out as 9 holes by Charles Hunter of Prestwick in 1894. It was extended to 18 holes in 1967.

The sea breezes and sloping greens make for a good challenge even allowing for the fact that the visitors' tees reduce the course's length from the 5823 of the medal tees.
